I share my life with my sled dogs since 1988.
Since 1996, I have organized sled dog tours and trips, first in Quebec until 2007, then in the Yukon to date.
I participate in long distance sled dog races like the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod.
In these races, my goal is not to rank myself against the other runners, but it is the challenge to participate with my team of dogs. I try to get the best out of them and myself.
Dogs will always come before my ego, even if it is difficult to give up.
In 2021, I am going to participate for the 5th time in the Iditarod, a 1600 km race across Alaska, which I find more difficult each year but I am ready to rise to the challenge again.
The first challenge will be to train the dogs enough to have 3000 miles in their paws for the season before the start.
The financial side will not be the least challenge and any help is welcome.
