The trail and route to Observation Mountain is beautiful. We start from the Sheep Mountain information center. We follow the Slim River West for 20 km on a trail. We have some creek crossings. A variety of wildlife including Dall sheep, mountain goat, grizzly and black bear, ptarmigan, moose and others inhabit the area. We will hike up to Observation Mountain, (10 km). We will have a great view of Kaskawulsh Glacier.

LOCATION: Kluane National Park. Trail heads are at 2 to 3 hours from Whitehorse.
